Well,  about  me. I’m a freelance translator. That means I love languages, grammar and communicating. More than that, I love art. I read a lot, I write, I’m still learning how to paint. Taking pictures and making handcrafts are also things that I really enjoy. I’m very sensitive. I love nature and people.  I’m shy but friendly.  This blog is not only a way to express myself but also a challenge: I must learn to open up, to express my feelings in front of other people. I’m happily married. And I’m the proud stepmother of two wonderful girls.  Life has given me wonderful things and also great challenges to deal with, challenges which make me a stronger person. To all those who read this, thank you, thank you for giving me the opportunity to share something with you and thank you for your patience since this is the first time I write knowing that I will be read. I usually write for myself only and now It’s time to change that.  I guess that’s all for now.  By the way, I’ll write in English and Spanish, since Spanish is my mother tongue and English is the way I communicate with all my friends who don’t speak Spanish.

Another thing I love and I miss doing is ice-skating. 🙂 My ice-skates are a part of me, I love caressing the ice with them.

Another thing about me: I love smiles. I’m always smiling and when someone else smiles at me it makes me happy. Smiling makes life a little easier and the days a little brighter.

I drew these ice-skates... because they are part of me.
